This series of abstracts using black lines is reminiscent of stained glass windows which were influential in my early childhood.  In 1991 I had the privilege of seeing the stained glass windows at the Cathedral in Chartres, France and the Chagall windows in Mainz, Germany which also had an influence on my work.  Not all the paintings in this series have the black lines.
